It seems a blink of an eye since he was born, but our eldest grandson is 7 years old tomorrow! I can remember the day he was born so well. We had a lovely day with him and his sister and cousins in London today.
This morning we took the "London" grandchildren to Anglesey Abbey, National Trust . We've been there loads of times, but the children enjoy having races and playing "hide and seek". At the moment, the dahlias are fantastic. This photo is of the children in the dahlia garden.
This afternoon our son Tim, his wife and their 2 delightful young children came to stay for the night. They go back to London after lunch tomorrow. We love their company and especially enjoy the little grandchildren. The youngest of this pair is not quite 3 and her elder brother is 6.5 years old. They have cousins in Kent who are a little younger.
